My name is Rebecca. I have a 12 year old daughter, and my soon to be wife Belinda and I are wanting to expand our family in the next year or so. We may do it sooner, but we are planning a trip to Ireland for next summer and I'm not sure I want to be pregnant or have a newborn when we go. 

I've been looking for donors online, since we have decided we don't want to go with someone we know, just in case of complications in the future. We definitely want a Puerto Rican donor, as Belinda is Puerto Rican and I will carry the baby. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what bank we should use?

I'm so looking forward to meeting other lesbian moms! We don't have many where we live.

There are also many older threads on here about sperm banks and the pros and cons of each.  We are using the Sperm Bank of California and we have been happy with them.
