There are two different forums for the area.  http://285bound.com/ and pinecam.com.  The first is friendlier.  They are kind of bedroom communities to Denver at this point but are still surprisingly close knit.  Depending on what you want to know, you might contact the Evergreen La Leche League leader or look up the homeschool group for the area http://groups.yahoo.com/group/285homeschoolers/
