Love it!-  Oh my goodness I need to post more belly pics!  This thread is seriously lacking winky.gif

This is me at 21 weeks, hiking at Mt. Rainier National Park in Washington. It was a gorgeous day and this trail was snow-free in mid-July, but when we got to one of the Paradise Park trails for a second hike, quite a bit of snow obscured the trails...and a bunch of young Microsoft interns were having a blast sledding down the snowbanks on plastic bags or their bottoms! Needless to say, I did not join them.

This was taken at home one month ago, at 24 weeks (I've been taking pictures about once a month and plan on getting a 28-week shot on the beach today). This dress has two tie-dyed circles around my bump, which I think of as circles of light, love, and protection, but they seem to double as bulls-eyes for unsolicited belly-touchers! BTW, we built the bookcases ourselves and you can see why the first thing we've built for the little one's room is a bookcase! We also built the table whose corner is visible in the lower right-hand corner of the photo. Carpentry is one of our favorite shared activities. (Our next project is a tripp-trapp type adjustable baby-child chair. I know we won't need it for some time, but we're trying to get our projects done before the birth because who knows how much time we'll have after that?)

Thanks for sharing all of the beautiful and inspiring belly pics!

Totally off topic but I've always wanted to build bookshelves!! We'd need to get a table saw first (and carve out some time!) so it always gets pushed aside. Love your pics and bookcases!!

Me too!  I was admiring them before I even got to the part where you built them yourself!  They look great!

Thanks for the compliments on the bookcases! I'll be sure to put some directions/plans on the thread for baby projects.

This is me riding my bike to work; I've been a cycle commuter for six years. My ride is a folding bike, which is super-comfortable to pedal in my current bulky state (I'll be at 32 weeks tomorrow). I plan on riding as long as I'm comfortable, since my trip takes me along a low-traffic, paved rural road with a generous shoulder--if I were a city rider, I'd have switched over to walking and taking the bus by now, as I don't feel safe riding in traffic any longer. The most entertaining aspect of my trip is that it's part of a route touring cyclists take in order to explore the Pacific Coast, and I often pass these heavily laden riders at the crest of long hills. I do my best not to embarrass them about getting passed by a big pregnant lady.

Jodi- oh my goodness... 52 weeks!   I love the henna design!

Dh just took some pics of me in my sports bra with stretch marks and all.  I'll have to decide if I'm brave enough to post!  I look like crud, but it's the way I look everyday lately.

PacificMar- love the pic!

Jodi- I'm confused about 52, but not confused about the henna, love it!

Beautiful pictures ladies! : )

JodiAriel, I don't know what she measured, but my Mom with my second brother, her #4 baby, looked like she'd swallowed a beach ball. She was so huge compared to when she was pregnant with any of the other before or after. Some babies are just bigger or have more water. :) You remind me of her - Gorgeous!
