Toddler sensing change??

Thread Starter

My daughter is 22 months old right now, and she has been crazy this last month. I know some of this is normal toddler stuff, with some added teething, but I'm wondering if she could be sensing a big change is coming? She has been really clingy, fussy, and just irritated.

For those of you with other children, did they sense a change coming? How can I help her adjust?? Or is this just a phase?

My 19 month old has noticed my tummy getting bigger and that mommy cannot carry her very much anymore.

She's taken to calling my belly button "Ro" (I suppose it's a step) and kissing it and talking into it.

LOL, my almost 3 year old DD keeps thinking she is pregnant and has a baby in her belly too :)

I really thought DD (19 mos) was getting the idea because she'd point at my belly and make her baby sound, and then she pointed at my Dad's belly... and several people at the grocery store... and hers and her siblings. And now she points at any body bulge, calf muscles, biceps, bums, and declares that babies are in there. Oops.
