H Jane, my daughter's name is Beatrix (Beatrix Margaret) and we (and she) love the name's being both classic & unique.  Haven't met another Beatrix, but she loves that it's the Queen of the Netherlands' name :)  Millie Beatrix is really cute!

Oscar Steven arrived last night (4/30) at 9:00 pm. He weighs 10 pounds 11 ounces and is 21 inches tall!

23 hours of labor, unmedicated water birth at a birth center--it was amazing. we came home this morning, so happy!
