My first daughter was induced (day before due date) because my blood pressure was slightly elevated. Though I still managed to do an anesthesia free birth and was of course thrilled with a healthy little girl, I really want to experience what is is like to go into a natural labor and labor at home for a long while with this one. I get major white coat hypertension, so I take my blood pressure at home to have something to give the MW to compare. Through most of my pregnancy my pressures at home have been a pleasantly low-low teens (like 110-115)/low 70's. In the last few days (after 31 weeks) I have gotten a few readings that are just slightly higher- high teens to 120 over/high 70's to very low 80's (like 78-83) . Is it normal to be higher in late pregnancy or am I creeping towards induction again?
