First time using OPK, is this a positive?

OPK 4/29 8pm

I'm on day 12 of my cycle, and I think I normally ovulate between day 12 and 14. When I do get a positive, that means I'm about to ovulate right? I read all this stuff a while ago, but forgot most of it. Thanks!

Yes, I would say that is positive.  I use the same ones and I had two of those this past cycle and I ovulated about 48 hours later.  But it depends on every person.  If I were you, I would keep having sex every day for the next 2-4 days at least, but it does give specific directions online if you got them on amazon.  Keep testing though.

I would say that's positive but I would continue taking them every 12 hours or so until they go back to negative.

Good luck!

I would say that is positive also.  When you get a positive, that usually means you will ovulate in 24-36 hours or maybe a little longer.

finnegansmom-- What's the purpose of taking them after you get a negative?  To see when the surge ends?  What does that tell you?

Thanks everyone! I had two faint negatives today, and I also had ovulation cramping late last night. We are actually going to start trying next month, so we are still avoiding for now. Was that most likely ovulation? Is it normal to go back to negative so fast? Should I keep testing?

close, just BD every other day to cover your bases.

I had an opk today that looked exactly like that! I'm going to say it's a positive and I'll be Oing really soon.
