Did you exercise today?

I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we can post our workouts.  It's definitely motivating to me to see what other people are up to and I like to get new ideas.  I am still Crossfitting 3 times a week but I need to get creative and fit in something on 2 more days a week, if possible.

I'll get us started - I hope others will join!

Today's workout was at Crossfit and took me about 25 minutes...

For time:
10 pullups
15 pushups
20 air squats
Run 200m
15 pullups
21 kettlebell swings
Run 400m
50 wallballs
Run 400m

I have a crazy active schedule, despite being pregnant. On Saturday I took the dog and 8 month old baby in the bob stroller for a power walk first thing in the morning for 1 hour. Later in the afternoon, husband, dog, baby and I went for a 1 hour hike with small hills. I had the baby in a kelty hiking backpack (husbands back hurt.. and I like the extra workout... though I could have done without the constant hair pulling).

Took Sunday off... the only day this week.

Today, Monday's, schedule is leaving for dog/baby power walk in 5 minute. Will last about 1 hour. At 9am I have stroller bootcamp for 1 hour. We will probably take a family walk with the husband, baby, dog, and myself for an hour in the evening before dinner.

On top of the usual AM/PM walk, I do stroller bootcamp M,W,F for an hour. I also ride/train my horses for 60-90 minutes 2-3 times a week. Needless to say, I usually pass out on the couch as soon as the baby passes out between 730-9pm!

I went to my first water zumba class yesterday and got in the pool only to learn that the teacher wasn't coming and class was cancelled! On Monday's at work we have free yoga offered to us so ill try to stick around for that. Thanks for the motivation!

Oh! This is so motivating. Now I HAVE to go hit the gym tonight! I've been on a week-long hiatus for no apparent reason.

I've just gotten passed the horrible hip pains enough to start working out again. Y'all are putting me to shame with your posts but I've done two days of Lindsay Bain's 2nd trimester cardio/tone dvd now and I have so much more energy than I did before so I'm hoping I can add some other things in as well now. After this morning's workout I even got energized enough to dust, sweep and mop the house, and I consider trying to clean while working against the entropy a toddler creates a workout as well.

Yeah, I need to see this.  Despite not being purposefully active, I have been doing exciting things like painting, woodworking and baby-chasing that keep me on my feet and sapped for energy but not really working out.

I miss weightlifting.  I did it a lot when PG with DS and I found it made my body feel good and balanced.

the only exercise i've gotten in all weekend, today included, is moving. not heavy lifting, but countless trips up and down the stairs, lots of squatting, reaching, and putting things into boxes winky.gif

i did throw in a few yoga breaks when my back started really getting to me. i'm going to look around for a prenatal water aerobics class or something of that sort... i have a strong urge to get into a pool!

Did 45 minutes of yoga and it felt really good. Not only is the class free but we can count the hour on our timesheets and get paid for it!

I'm going to go on a 3-mile walk after work with the pup!

I coached for 2 hours tonight and then did 1.5 hours of Oly lifting (mostly snatches and snatch-related lifts).  Definitely getting a WOD in tomorrow!

Okay, headed to CrossFit in about an hour.  Here's the workout for today:

200m run with Med-Ball

5 Ring Dips/Box Dips

10 DB Push Press (I'll do with two 25's)

15 Wall-Ball Shots (I'll do with 14lb ball)

AMRAP in 15 min

And I have 2 hours of coaching again tonight, which is never a workout, per se, but still very physical.

I made it to Crossfit this morning - here's what I did:

2000 m row

3 rounds for time:

21 wall balls

21 knees to elbows

The workout called for burpees and toes to bar but I subbed.  I don't feel like I can breathe doing burpees and I have yet to successfully get my toes to the bar!

One hour of zumba last night, today is my day off. I might take the dog and kids for a walk in the PM.

OMG - we did wall balls today and I loathe them!  I'm still able to do burpees (albeit, much slower) would so much rather do burpees.  But there are no words to describe my hatred of wall balls lol!

Hit the gym today, but had limited time ... I did a bit of running, but not a lot because my lower belly started to feel uncomfortable so I switched to the elliptical after about a mile and then did a couple more miles on that.

I felt awesome being there. So between some gym time and my banana/strawberry/grape/blueberry/yogurt/chia seed smoothie, I'm hoping today will be a good day!

I have that same hatred for burpees!  People today were telling me that they'd rather do two times the burpees over wall balls.  Since I started subbing wall balls, I like to think I am actually getting kind of good at them.  I think I am using my hatred for burpees as an excuse - I should probably try to do some slow burpees!

haha!  I've always hated wall balls.  Don't know why.  And the wall balls right after the 50lbs of dumbbell push presses just made them that much worse.  Shoulders were wrecked!  And it was really warm and humid here today.  And supposed to be hotter tomorrow.  Wonder what we're doing (I only know the workouts on the days I coach).

This afternoon I also mowed our backyard, front yard and planted a ton of flowers in the back and front.  I'm so tired tonight!
