Bleach alternative?

OK, I've searched the archives, and found lots of great bleach alternatives for household cleaning. I use OxyClean almost exclusively for laundry, but am wondering if it kills germs? I need something to clean my kids' toys (they've been sick lately). I would prefer not to use bleach water! Any ideas? Thanks!

hydrogen peroxide ...

you can put some hydrogen peroxide in a bottle, it kills 99% germs
or use vinegar
i use 7th generation anti bac kitchen and bathroom cleaners, they work good.

I use a spray of mostly water with a little lavender oil and tea tree oil like other people use lysol spray. It is a great disinfectant and smells wonderful! When someone around here is sick, I spray all the doorknobs, bathrooms, toothbrushes (i let those sit for a few and then rinse), toys, etc. I also use it as an air freshener in the sickroom or all around the house.
