Due date clubs

Is there a particular reason that the due date clubs only go up to April 2012? Are they still being used?

All new DDCs are placed as a Group with members managing the group.  Due Date Clubs after April 2012 are located here: http://www.mothering.com/community/groups/

We only open a new Group at the request of members. There must be two people willing to volunteer their services as group leaders to be able to request a group.  This thread gives the details: http://www.mothering.com/community/t/1327212/social-groups-are-here/0_100

I've suggested it before and will say it again, MDC should post directions to the new groups at the old DDC area of the forums.

are these new social groups in tapatalk? i can't find them and want to join a ddc but don't have time to sit in front of the computer. my main internet is through my phone and mdc through tapatalk.  

not sure if i'm a fan of groups. it's just one more system to navigate and mdc is already so branching.

Relatively new. We've had them since the beginning of the year. There may be some issue with Tapatalk that makes it difficult to see them but I thought that was resolved awhile back. 

 

What DDC do you want to check out? I can link you to the group.

I don't think Tapatalk fully supports social groups. A semi-recent Tapatalk support request seems to confirm this. My experience is that the threads I post in social groups I can find in my Favorite Threads area but that subscribing to the group doesn't make it appear as a Favorite Forum, and there's no way to browse the group like one can browse other Forums. I have Tapatalk version 2.1.3. kimkim should be able to have the same version of Tapatalk, since the Nexus One came with Android 2.1, which is compatible with this version of Tapatalk, so I think we're comparing apples-to-apples here.

Thanks for the info. I have reported this to our tech support team to see if there's anything they can do to improve performance with Tapatalk and Groups. But I'm guessing the issue is something Tapatalk needs to address.
