And I know because he said so.  What an amazing way to use the word "happy" for the first time.  I just needed to share love.gif

So precious!!

My daughter is about 27 months old now. For a few months every time she sees someone unhappy (including her baby brother)... she goes "milk" and indicates they need to breastfeed to get happy again. They are so cute at this age aren't they!

Awh, so sweet! love.gif

DS does this thing where he goes"mmmmmmmmmm", like a happy sigh when he nurses, and then gets a big smile when I echo back what he does.  I didn't really put it together that it was a happy, relaxed noise/sigh until I climbed into a hot bath one night after a stressful day at work and made the same noise myself!  I love that I'm his "happy place".

Isn't it amazing how much they can tell us?? I am in love with this "language explosion" thing that is going on.  I love how empathetic kids can be too, and to know that the milk has such a profound impact on their way of life orngbiggrin.gif
