Anything wrong with big brand shower gel?

I'm new to natural body care products and have always just used the generic stuff. I switched from a standard deoderant to the Tom's brand that is aluminum free b/c I heard that aluminum into your armpit pores is related to breast cancer. Yucky. However, I still just use the cheap, big brand shower gel that smells like Pomegranate and Orange Burst or something. It's like $3 a bottle. Are there health risks to using that stuff on my skin? Please share specific info. THanks.
