I know that a bit of blood in her vaginal discharge is normal and related to hormones, but how long does it typically last? I'm also finding it at just about every diaper change.
I'm not sure, but Lennon had a little mucus most every time that I changed her for at least a week, and I know that the mucus and blood are caused by the same thing (hormones), so I'm assuming it could go on for a week or more.
Thanks for replying! I did a bit of reading and found that for some babies it can resemble a tiny period. Juliet's is closer to that but I'm confident that it's nothing to worry about.
Lennon has little "lumps" behind her nipples that feel like breasts or little breast implants and she still has them at 3 weeks from the hormones! She quit having vaginal mucus though. None of my girls ever had the bleeding, although I know it's normal/common.

Juliet stopped the bleeding a few days ago. It was like a mini period.
DD1 had the lumps behind her breasts until about a month after she stopped nursing at 21 months. Her Dr. said that it was still from the hormones in my breast milk.
