DO IT BAREFOOT!
I read "Born to Run" by christopher macdougall.
I never wanted to run before but after i read the book i wasn't afraid and now really enjoy it. once you get used to running barefoot your body adapts completely and you dont get hurt.
still i wish my running would make me thinner faster. i hate to feel my body jiggle with fat, boohoo
the weight takes FOREVER, doesn't it? ugghh so annoying
anyway i hope barefoot running helps
Kay, so when people say run barefoot, do they actually mean barefoot, or with barefoot running shoes? I have a pair of Vibram Five Fingers, and I wear them all the time -not running though. I'm not sure I could do it actually barefoot, but with the shoes, yes.
My knees took a week to feel better at all, and it's been another week and a half and I'm still a little nervous to hurt them again. Next Monday I'm going to start the C25K program again though with my barefoot shoes. If that doesn't work, I'm just going to stick with going for long, fast walks at night instead.
I've finally broken 160 lbs. I was stuck between 165 and 160 for weeks! But, this week I was at 158, and I am happy about that. I'm now actually able to get into normal clothes. I'm no where near my pre-pregnancy clothes, but I'm in size 12 jeans and pants. I was getting really sick of too big pregnancy clothes, and even the ones that do still fit I've put away so that I will stay motivated to actually look good in the clothes I'm wearing. I've been scared to get into a swim suit yet, but in a few more weeks I won't be able to avoid it. Hopefully I'll be able to trim off a few more lbs by then.
