I took my birth story off, because apparently someone who comes to these boards saw my birth story as some kind of "dirty laundry" to be "pointed and laughed at"

I can be pointed and laughed at, but I can't do that to my little ones.

Thank you to the people who come to this site who really are supportive- not interested in judging each other. I have so dearly appreciated you ladies, and I really feel so sad to have found out that the support wasn't all as genuine as it seemed.

Wow, congrats! What a gripping birth story. He is absolutely perfect- I'm sorry you didn't get a lovely waterbirth, but it's never wrong to go with your gut and it does seem like he needed the extra help.

Just a side note: when I hear stories about doctors saying that kind of callous bs (the doctor from your first birth) I want to punch the medical establishment in the collective nose. 

I'm glad you had such a strong advocate in your husband.

YEs!  I wasn't very young, but *looked* very young when my first was born, and know exactly what you mean about your first birth.
