I'm not sure if the due date club is the place to go with postpartum issues, but I trust all of you ladies so much and so many of you have been trough this before...
So things are going fairly well, however it's so hard! I had thought the placenta pills were working magic, but it may have been the high of giving birth to a super cute baby!
The baby's weight fluctuations and making sure that he's getting enough milk (he lost a pound total as of yesterday, but was back up 2 oz today).
For some reason I get these episodes of extreme shivers where I can barely warm myself, and I'm nauseous. My doctor things it might be symptoms of me coming off the percecet (sp?).
I have a low grade fever of 99 degrees. I never have fevers.
My left breast is barely producing milk.
I cry a lot.
The good news is, he's up 2 oz. We have an awesome pediatrician who spent 2 hours with us on a Sunday to make sure his weight was up and that feedings were going well. My incision looks great and is healing well. The bleeding has almost stopped. I have an amazing support network at home of my husband, mom, brother and sister-in-law.
Overall, I'm so happy and I know this too shall pass. I feel like I've been saying that forever. :) But I'd love some reassurance from experienced moms about how hard this can be and how it actually does pass!
Thanks so much!
