Do your older kids wear your baby?

My stepson is 8 and our baby is 2 weeks old. I bet he'd like to wear her for short periods as he is really enjoying being involved in all the rest of her care. She settles so well in our Baby Buddha but it clearly wouldn't fit him as it is not adjustable to the wearer - thankfully my SO and I both fit it well. We also have a Moby, as yet unused, but I imagine we might be able to get a decent carry on DSS since it's so customizable.

Do any of you have older kids who wear the baby? Is this a dumb idea? If not, any tips?

Sure, why not? I let my 5yo wear my baby for brief periods. She loves it and asks to do so. She used the ergo and it baaarely got snug enough in the waist to work. Still kinda awkwardly sized since its designed for an adult body! But she enjoyed it. I think a mei tai would be ideal, or for a newborn, a wrap.

My dd wears her cousin when ever possible. Started at 10. I used a ring sling for my kids and didn't feel comfortable with my oldest using that, but something like an ergo, sure
