My 18 month old has just stopped sleeping through the night.....

Hi, I have twins of 18months that sleep in the same room, and the last few weeks twin2 has been waking up 3 /4 times a night luckily she doesn't wake twin1 or our 4 yr old, buts that's because we don't leave her cry for too long(20 mins) ! Twin2 has slept perfect from birth, and twin1 was the non sleeper as a baby now it's roles reverse and she does 12 hrs. Any hints/ tips would be grateful:o

Could she maybe be getting some molars in? I know that has taken my 16 month twin and replaced him with a really fragile cranky version! Have you seen any daytime changes?

Have you had her checked for an ear infection? Some babies never have any symptoms except restless sleep. My dd had one that was really bad that the doctor discovered without me having a clue that she had one on her first well child check with her pediatrician. I got nasty comments that day and felt terrible but I have since seen other babies have the same problem.

My 15 month old son is getting his first two molars and has been sleeping at night in 45 minute stretches (if I'm lucky), nursing for 15 minutes, then sleeping for another 45 minute stretch, for about three weeks now.  Could be teething.
