what do you do? wake to nurse or let them sleep? how about diapers?
dd1 was up every 2 hours, Ursa is sleeping longer stretches (almost 5 hours last night?)
I agree, I never wake in the MOTN for diaper change or feed unless you are having supply issues or baby is having issues gaining weight.
DS wakes often all night - the longest stretch I have gotten form him is 3.5 hours. Most are 2 hours. Last night he was up every 1.5 hours. The thing I struggle with now is diaper changes. I HATE to do a diaper change in the night because it wakes him up. I have been putting him in sposies at night just because they wick poo and pee away from his skin better than prefolds (which are the only CD that fit him right now) and I really can't change him at every feed because he would then be awake much more. At this age, he is still peeing & pooping constantly, though, so I feel bad leaving him in a soiled diaper when I can HEAR him poop in his sleep - but I just can't stand to wake him for a change, either.
I only wake babies up to change their diaper IF I know they are soaking wet or I hear/see a massive poop. We do prefolds so I don't want her to be too uncomfortable. A tiny poop will get changed when they wake up on their own.
There is no way I wake DD up to nurse, even during the day. With all these little people running around my house, I need *somebody* to be sleeping lol. I have huge oversupply, though, and a nursing toddler, so whenever I am engorged, I ask DS2 to help me out During the day, DD goes about every 2-4 hours between nursing, and at night goes every 4-5hours.
