Kinda embarrassed to ask, but my EBF (4th) baby has a few normal poops a day, but in between seems to 'leak' by that I mean issue tiny squirts in between times. On many of her CDs we find a poo streak when we check her, and have to change even though dipe is otherwise dry and clean. Sometimes i have laid in a silk liner to cover the streak!- so I can re-use the dipe for longer. We EC.
She seems to spit up a lot, but not sure if it is more than my other kiddos did. It is never green or projectile, so not too worried about allergies. However, she does spit up different times: right after eating, fresh milk, then she wants to nurse more, sometimes it's been down longer, sometimes it's the curdled kind (usually just a small bit when that happens) She seems to cry medium compared with my others (not as chill as DS, less fuss I think than DD2). But has had a few nights lately where she seem extra fussy, and was spitting up left and right. But she also seems to have caught DH's cold this week, which seems weird to me for a 3 week old baby. DH has had a sore throat/cough and during the fussy nights baby did a lot of cough and sneezes... more than the post-birth stuff. No fever or anything. She seemed to poop extra those nights too. Her poops have always looked good to me, i.e. golden and seedy and buttermilk odory. Though in the last few fussy nights she's had a few goes that were more tan and seedless, kinda projectile poos, if you will.
Sorry, mainly my question was about the 'baby sharts' streaks and if that's normal in your experience? Looking back, I believe all my kids did that the first few months. I am hoping it's more a laundry issue than a health one for baby?
