I'd love to join up for 4.0 so count me in! I epically failed the last Whole 30 I attempted but really need the accountability and really need it to keep me motivated!!! Keeping my eyes peeled...

I would do anything for 1 pound a week omg! I'm not even sure I should KEEP my scale. It never says what it should. EVER! ;)
EDIT: Let me say though... are there any nursing mamas here? My DD is 2.5yo, so she's well past newborn/supply-drop fear issues. I almost worry that I can't lose anything because I am still nursing. UGH!
Edited by tillymonster - 7/10/12 at 7:55pmpost #344 of 3967/10/12 at 7:53pmQuote:Well...I've only lost one pound/week for a few weeks. I guess I should just be satisfied with the downward trend. Prior to the past few weeks, I lost and gained the same five pounds for months! My highest point was a whopping 240; I thought it might come off faster because I have so much to loose.
post #345 of 3967/10/12 at 10:38pmBack up to 190 again. Sorry I didn't weigh in yesterday. I have been working two jobs and dealing with the death of my FIL and my MIL needing rehab for alchoholism. It's been a lot of stress and it's far from over.

Quote:I am glad to continue keeping up with the week to week weigh ins if that is helpful!
Duties = Posting the original thread with description of what we are up to, forming teams, making a cut off for late comers, determining a winner at the end. The first challenge, Milk also did the weekly weigh-in chart but it was a lot on one person so I volunteered to do that part. She has also created some pie charts and other things like that. Milk, feel free to add to this!!

I'll get a new thread up with join by dates and such in the next few days then. I'm figuring a week off between challenges?
post #352 of 3967/11/12 at 9:28amTillyMonster - I am nursing a nearly 2 yo. I am also struggling losing weight after the birth of this babe.
However, with my previous babe I lost a significant amount of weight and she was younger and also still nursing when I did lost that weight.
I don't know the reason why the weight is sticky this time. A good lot is probably associated with the fact that my life is way more hectic with 3 kids, I am moving again and my comfort is food. I don't feel like my eating is grand splurging, but it is keeping me from making great progress.

Thanks ladies... good to know I won't be the only one who is still nursing. Oui! I feel so defeated when I feel like I've been eating great and exercising, only to have the scale stay put. Or even go up! I do have some thyroid issues but am taking levothyroxine.
The chart above is freaking awesome!!! So which team wins? I can't wait to get in on this! A week separation is great for me as well, since I'm on a camping trip this weekend. And I'm gonna have smores, so help me!!! ;)
dbsam: We are SO in the same boat. I'm 215lbs at 5'5". You'd think I could drop 5lbs pretty fast. Oh no, the body wants to keep them. I can barely get a pound if I'm lucky. I think I've lost 2 pounds at the MOST in like a 3 week period. Then just gained it back! So frustrating.

A week off between is good with me - and it gives us more time for new people to sign up!
I am also nursing a 18 month old. You won't be the only nursing mama in this crowd! Welcome!

Ok. starter thread for next one is up (Milk - I stole your first post from this thread wholesale, I hope that's ok.). Start date for next challenge is 30 July.

post #356 of 3967/11/12 at 6:55pmI won't be rejoining! I found out that 7-11 had free slurpee day and being the frugal woman that I am, I went to all three 7-11's in town and got my free slurpee.

You're not alone I'm nursing my DS. He'll be 3 in October. Weight loss for me is slow going. I've lost about 12 lbs in the 3 challenges. Pretty much maintaining the last two weeks.

Way late weigh in - I thought I had posted on Monday but I guess I didn't - 243.2 pounds. I am in for the next challenge. I was down to 241 last week but then went to MIL's house where her style of serving is she puts on your plate what she thinks you should eat and I go into panic mode thinking the next meal I won't get enough to satisfy me. Viscous cycle. Summer vacation is half over and DH and I are looking at IVF in September or October so I would like to lose weight in preparation for that.
