Morning sickness started to kick in yesterday :(  No vomiting, but just feel yucky. Tummy is so uneasy, and i dont want to eat anything, i had to force myself to eat pizza today.

I could not imagine having to change a diaper while feeling this way, you ladies are tougher than I could be! UGH!

Queasies kicking in here as well at 5w6d. And here come the weird cravings. I totally just ate a carrot dusted in sea salt and it was amazing.

We're getting a good group going! Yay!

All is well here. I'm super tired and have to make sure I eat often enough. Dh made kabobs for me for Mothers Day. I was all excited, then couldn't hardly stand to eat them! I hate that! I won't complain though. I do feel pretty good!

I ate a real meal! For the first time in three weeks. I think I have finally beaten the stomach nastiness that came with the antibiotics. Three weeks of not digesting, losing almost ten pounds, that really was not how I planned to start a pregnancy.

Forget all that, I ate dinner!!

Let me guess, the morning sickness kicks in tomorrow? Bring it on baby, it's nothing compared to what I've just been through.

I've been starving too -- it was my biggest hint that I might be pg.  Usually I'm never hungry when I wake up - not for awhile, at least - but I've been waking up, blowing right past the coffee and heading for the fridge! 



Mild nausea here and there, but so far, nothing too terrible.  I'm hoping it will stay easy to deal with!  I had no morning sickness with my first pregnancy, and was sicker than a dog with the second.  Maybe I'll get lucky again this time around.

A little spotting this morning.   I know it's normal, but I still don't like it!

I am definitely feeling more pg as each day passes, even though I'm only 4 weeks.  I always feel symptoms very early, which is why I even tested so early (10dpo)- I woke up in the middle of that night with heartburn, and I never get heartburn unless I'm pg!  Funny thing is, I haven't had it since.  LOL  I am definitely more hungry- I have been nauseated, and my back is really achy.  Oh, and tired of course. :)

We have told our families, because my oldest two girls figured it out..but we are still feeling very cautious.  About 4 years ago, I had surgery for endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and pelvic congestion syndrome.  For the pelvic congestion syndrome, my doctor tied off the veins around my ovaries (my ovarian veins were much bigger around than the doctor's thumb) to reroute the blood.  While I wasn't opposed to having more children, I was opposed to all that pain, so even though the dr thought the surgery would probably leave me infertile, I went ahead with it.  We are somewhat concerned that the surgery could affect the health of the baby, so until I have an ultrasound that shows my pelvic veins are a-okay, we'll be cautious.

Thanks for the hugs! I think the spotting has stopped, and there was no cramping or pain. It's so much better to not see any blood!

Mamapigeon- I hope the spotting stays away! While it's really common to spot in early pregnancy, I know how scary it can be.

Glad things are a better. I had bright red bleeding 4 days before my test. But things have been ok since.

I feel like doo doo today. Best way i can describe it is the worst hangover EVER! so tired, headache, starving but NOTHING sounds good. Here it comes, no doubting it now! LOL!

Thank you!  I go on the 31st.  They were able to get me in next week, but it was the same day/time as the retirement party for retiring teachers at my school, and that's one of those required social events.  LOL

I hope you're feeling better soon- I'm starting to feel just like that as the afternoon progresses.  I am trying to wean myself off my daily coffee, but I might just give in today!

I had to give in today, I'm with you--I've been good since I got my positive test, but I caved and let myself have a bottled frappuccino while I was waiting for the older girls to come out of school. Not great for my stomach (I'm super dairy sensitive, even moreso when pregnant) but it did the trick.

Anyone else not at all excited to share their news? I'd be waiting until we hear the heartbeat regardless, but I just have zero interest in telling and getting negative reactions. "Another one??" and "Are you sure this is a good time?" and "You're insane!" I'm thrilled about the pregnancy, this is a very much-wanted baby and I'm through the roof excited, I just want to keep that happy without it being tainted by a bunch of negativity.

Some close friends know, but no one in our families. DH's parents will be thrilled, but mine probably won't. My Dad watches DD when I have to be in school during the day (usually I am an evening student though), so we'll just have to make it very clear to him that he is NOT obligated to watch the new baby, and we'll work something else out for my last semester. The poor guy doesn't have the faintest clue what to do with a newborn . . . .

With my daughters medical issues i am VERY nervous about every ones reactions. I told my mom, and my MIL, and then on mothers day we told my adopted father and his family. They where all very excited for us, but i dont think that they quite understand our fears and what is in store for our family. Its a lot of changes for any family but it could be devistating for ours if there is an underlying genetic issue, or something where to happen and I was unable to be there with my daughter or god forbid she is hospitalized and i go onto labor......we are scared beyond words, and i know that there are some people that will not be excited and are going to be just as apprehensive as we are. So yes, we are very nervous too.

So. This exhaustion, is it supposed to go to your muscles too? Last week (week 5) I felt like going to bed right when I got home, but I just started a new job and that probably added to it. But this week my muscles are just exhausted. I hit the gym after work yesterday since going to the gym always helps me feel better. But I just felt like curling up on the floor. Even taking the dog for a walk today was hard, like I had to really concentrate to get one foot in front of the other.

Also, I've lost 10 lbs in the past 2 weeks! I have a lot to spare-- I'm muscular and have some extra chub on me as well-- so I am not worried about it. I'll only get worried if my weight continues to drop. Usually when I stop hitting the gym regularly my muscle tone goes away and I drop 10-15 lbs (and don't feel nearly as healthy). So maybe that's it. Or the fact that I am not drinking two glasses of wine a night. Or that I am eating healthier in general. Not sure.

yeah. it's the most exhausted overwhelming run down feeling possible.

Hi there, I just posted my introduction and am very new here... holding out for the BFP but there is overwhelming evidence at this point that I am preggers!

It all started early last week or so when I had two dreams I was preggo.  The first one I found out it was a boy and was thinking to myself - yep, always knew it would be three boys!  Then I just had a generic dream about a big preggo belly.  I started to get tired and moody and frequent urination real early and told one of my co-workers and it turns out that very night she had a dream I was pregnant with her.  So then came the sensitive smells, chills, cramps, yeast infection, weird taste in my mouth and when drinking water, kefir, etc, neck and back ache, shallow breathing and loud pulse, hungry, bloated, acne, ghost of nausea, discomfort/can't sleep, runny nose/congestion, diarhea, i swear there is extra skin under my arms ( you really have to search for some of these symptoms lol) achey legs, itchy upper body and palms, burps, flatulence, i ate a steak and usually eat bites of different things on my plate but I ate all of that steak and savored every bite before moving on to other foods, heartburn... and one of my other co-workers said that she has been having pregnancy symptoms (she's too old to have babies) but she said that when my other pregnant co-worker got pregnant she got the symptoms too.  we all had goosebumps at this time.  BF hasn't felt anything telling him its true, but I think he's warming up to the idea.  I got sick the other day, right as I was having cramps.  Had ovulation tinges on my right side on 5-3, DTD 4-26 thru 4-29, so the little guys must have sat there for a few days... lol.  Then the implantation cramps were on the left side and lasted from 5-10 thru 5-13 or so...Took a while to implant, but during implantation I got real sick and have been recovering from that.  Just sore body and real knocked out and bad congestion.  I think the EPF of whatever was really doing its job and that's how I got sick because I rarely ever get sick and it was right at the time of implantation.  So today there is pink spotting and AF isn't due until Thurs..... or later.  Took tests all weekend and even one today, but the one I took today was a 20 hcg detector.  I have already spend too much on tests and I'm pretty sure so I'm just gonna wait it out to see what happens in the next couple of days with this period... or lack thereof. 

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.  Looking forward to getting to know you all and wishing happy and healthy pregnancies to all!  I will keep you updated on our story!
