I've always read that babies love to fall asleep while being wore, but my 4 month old has never fallen asleep in any carrier. I have a moby wrap, maya wrap/sling, and an ergo. I'd love to just wear her around while she sleeps, but she will only stay in the carrier for maybe 30 min max and then if she's tired, she'll cry to get out. Anything I can do to help her feel more comfy in there and sleep? She hates any cradle positions so perhaps that is the problem. I can only wear her in an upright position either facing me or facing out. But, I've seen other babies fall asleep in an upright position facing mama.

post #2 of 35/15/12 at 6:30pmI am pregnant with my first, but from what I've noticed babysitting, watching others and hearing stories (esp about my niece!), some babies just like one position better than others, PERIOD. She may be like that? I babysit a cousin's baby and she will NOT go for any baby wearing and hates tummy time. Oh well. That's just how she is and I have to adjust around her.
post #3 of 35/16/12 at 1:15pmmy LO will fall askeep facing in and upright. she hates the cradle hold also, and will usually fall asleep with lots of patting and boucing
