Hi, everybody--I'd really like to start a thread for those using Clomid right now. Share your thoughts, frustrations, musings, etc!

 

Me: I'm on my first cycle on 50 mg. I had all kinds of what I *thought* were O signs CD 9-12, but then they all went away, and my temp has stayed low. I'm on CD 16 and just waiting for the temp spike. I was hoping to O a little earlier than my usual, which is 17-23. I'm frustrated, too, that I've had several patches of EWCM and think I am good with BD timing . . . but then the temp doesn't spike.

The first time I used Clomid, I O'd later than I would normally.  I think it has that effect sometime.  It can also dry up your CM, so drink lots of water to help thin it out.

Well, finally got my temp spike this morning! We bd'd last night, and -5, -4, and -2, so I'm crossing my fingers. Fortunately it didn't dry me up, either.

 

Doesn't look like anyone else in the Infertility board is doing Clomid :(

 

Might try the Fertility Board.

I am. I think it's just that the people here are on to a little bit more advanced cycles. Good luck and I hope it's ends in a bfp for you!

Thanks for replying, Sila. I actually read the guidelines for this board, and I might have been a little hasty in joining--we've not been trying for a whole year yet (but that is fast approaching) and I wonder if there might be more relevant conversations on the Trying board.
