January bellies - Page 4

Here's the only real shot I have of my belly at the moment. This was about a week and a half ago at 17 weeks.

P.S. Spray Parks are awesome. :)

16w 4d  yay for a little belly finally!

20 weeks 5 days, almost "halfway" for me I think :)  I'm guessing I'll go 42+1 day with this baby.  That way, if it's earlier than that I'll be surprised and excited!

oh my, what a lovely belly!  I swear people still don't believe I am pregnant.  I was at the dentist today and when I said I was 17 weeks the girls was like, "you mean 7?" with eyebrows all up.  I was trying not to giggle.

Such cute bellies!! Clarasmom, you look adorable.

I'm at 20 weeks and just went back to work as a teacher so I haven't seen my coworkers in a couple of months. The response from many was that they wouldn't have known I was pregnant. Really people? I haven't been able to button my pants since June and gave up on non-maternity bottoms in July. Oh well, I shouldn't complain that I'm staying fairly small, I guess.

Haha, thanks ladies :)  I'm only 5'2" tall, and DD was the same way.  OUT for everyone to see by like 10-12 weeks!  I just have no where to hide a baby apparently!

I've felt "out there" forever as well. I'm only 5'1" so really, where can I hide a babe?

I am about 21.5 weeks and mentioned to a woman at my son's school today that I have an ultrasound appointment next week and she was shocked!  I'm 5'6'' and according to my friends I just look like I've gained a bit of weight but pregnancy isn't obvious.  I'm jealous, honestly.  Only time I look truly pregnant is after a big meal!

Hotsauce, I'm hearing the same thing from people I know. I'm just a shade under 5'5" and no one seems to believe I'm pregnant. Summer dresses help, I guess. This is my first and I have nothing to compare it to, but every pregnant woman I speak to insists that I look "great" or barely pregnant. I was worried enough about it that I told my midwife and she laughed. She measured me and all is fine.

I'll post a pic when I actually have something to show. Right now, I still just look like I've got a beer gut. wink1.gif

Gelato, have you gained much weight at all?  I put on fifteen pounds right away (like in the first twelve weeks) and haven't gained anything else since other than maybe a pound or two.  The scale reads the same as it did ten weeks ago.  I feel the baby all the time but there's not really a 'bump', just huge boobs and my thighs/butt are bigger. :)  I gained weight and a lot of it very steadily with my son and was quite obviously pregnant by twenty weeks.  It's so different this time!  I start my sixth month tomorrow so surely in the next few weeks the belly should be poppin'...

To me my belly is quite obvious but then I look in the mirror and I look like I just have belly chub.  To me it's obvious because I am huge compared to normal... but I guess considering I'm 5'7" I just look bigger now.  Considering my butt/thighs/upper arms have gained weight too, now I just look bigger overall, bah.  I am almost as big now at 19 weeks as I was at delivery with my first kiddo, though.  (This is my third, now...)  When I look back on my 20 week belly bump pic from his pregnancy, whoa, I don't even look pregnant at ALL - now I look (to me) like I'm ready to go any day.  Heh.

My belly is definitely obvious. In fact, I have now received 7 different comments from people (usually older women, whom I don't know) about how "HUGE" I am and about how I must be ready to pop any day now. They're quite shocked when I tell them I'm only halfway done. Heh.

I'm 5'8" but I carry ALL out in front. As of today, I'm 22 weeks and have gained 20 pounds.

I have had a few of those comments myself, one lady at the state fair last week told me I should be at home resting and waiting for baby to come not out in the heat at the fair.... I was like oh thanks, but I'm not due til January and she said oh your kidding me right. I know I'm big, I was a bit on the heavy side before becoming pregnant.

oh my. some people!  I had the very funny situation where one day a friend told me I looked "very" pregnant and I was annoyed at him.  The next day another friend told me I was so slim and didn't look pregnant at all.  I wanted to smack her too.  I was laughing at myself through both conversations.  Can't people just say, "you look great!" or shut up??  I have yet to gain one lb but I am back to my starting weight- I think.  I'm hoping the dr isn't too pissy tomorrow...

Ha, I got "is it triplets?" today...from an 85 yo that's never had children! She's harmless, but she does make comments about weight...ya ya, I carry way out front. Whatever, I don't look like i'm having triplets!!!
