I tried EC with my second. It was going great until I got Mastitis three times in the space of a month. Then the recovery from that.. After wards I just gave up, my husband wasn't supportive anyway so it was to much of a stress/struggle.
Has anyone used/made homemade baby wipes?? - Page 2
Angelorum - thanks for this! I didn't know there was a whole subgenre of books on this subject. Just requested one from my library and will read it with great curiosity. I'm not adamant about potty training early, but I have a 3 year old niece who still isn't potty trained, and I think that's too late, at least for our family. Great to know there are some options!
By the way, what's a good size for these wipes? I want to pick up some flannel to give to my mother in law and need to figure out how much material I'll need. Thanks in advance!
We didn't do EC from birth - though I was interested, DS had a lot of food intolerances and had many messy poops daily - no signals there - it was just not going to work.
Instead we started a "late" version at age 1 (or just before maybe?) Anyway, DS was still out of diapers by 23 months completely - something else to consider if you have a situation like ours.
That's great to hear other's EC success too though :)
