Are there any midwives/doulas who will help us in Southern Ark?

Hi there!

We just moved to El Dorado for my husband's work, and I am 32 weeks pregnant. I have heard that Dr. Donya Watson, the local family doctor is great at following birth plans etc...but I have never given birth in a hospital! We had two blissful birth center babies so far.

I really prefer a midwife and homebirth, but so far, haven't had luck finding anyone who is in the Southern Ark or Northern LA area.

Does anyone know of someone who might travel? We are willing to pay for travel and lodging if that makes a difference.

Thumbs down to Dr Watson!  I would never give birth in Eldorado hospital.  Few escape without a c-section.

There are midwives who will travel.  I had Gabriele Thrailkill attend my HB in Nov 09.  She's great. She came all the way from DeQueen.  There is a midwife now in Fordyce also.
