Some kind of problem

Yeah, don't know what to call this:

- baby started getting mad about nursing on left breast, so I just kept making her start there, and if she got too frustrated would calm her with feeding from the right then switch back

- it got worse

- I could tell there was milk/could hand express but it looked like it was only squirting from one spot

- so I pumped, and 1) definitely only coming from one duct 2) I pump for thirty minutes and get maybe an ounce.

What's going on and who can help me? Doctor, lactation consultant?

i would try heat and massage, with a wet hot washcloth and see how that does. I don't know what to tell you after that! if you examine your nipple, does it look like any of the holes are crusted or anything weird?

Nothing looks crusty or out of place, and there's not any discomfort...though I will say the "holes", well I can only detect those (on either breast) when milk is shooting out of them lol.
