Using glow in dark stars fabric to cover up ugly top bunk slats/mattress???

I am looking for something simple to do to cover the ugly wood slats & the bottom of the mattress on the top bunk so DD2 looks up & see something nice.  I am not crafty.  At first I was going to use some fabric I have that coordinates with a few other small items throughout their room but then thought about something like this since it will really only be something that DD2 sees when she is laying in the bottom bunk:

Anyone have any experience with a glow in the dark fabric?

Any other simple ideas for jazzing up the view from the bottom bunk?

TIA!!

I think it is a cute idea.
My youngest has a pair of pj with stars that glow. Didn't realize at first, hand me down from a friend, but was a nice subtle print.
