Showing early and subsequent pregnancies « Back to Group Discussions

I'm not as far along as a lot of you on here - I'm due the beginning of January and am about 7 wks now.  But I know a lot of the moms in the Dec group already have quite a few kids and I'm wondering who is showing already?

My dp insists that I'm not showing yet, and I'm not *really* - but I think it's going to start being noticeable in the next week or two.  I'm a dress wearer - so I have no idea if my pants are too tight to button! - but my stomach is at that point where no matter how hard I suck it in, it is clearly and firmly rounded outward now.  I also have a pretty narrow waist, which I think is accentuating it.  This is my fifth and I always show really early (and I realize that it is probably mostly bloating at this point) but either way - I was hoping to not have to tell people for a while, but holding my stomach in is getting tiring!;)

I'm 9 weeks now and my stomach definitely looks like something's up.  This happened at 8wks last time.

I seem to show a little earlier each time. This time I felt like I peed on the stick and got a bump, lol.

I felt like I 'popped' around 7 weeks this time.  I.e., I couldn't squish my belly into my pants anymore!  When I look at myself in the mirror I didn't look that different but I simply couldn't wear my normal clothes any longer.  Now at 9+ weeks I can see that everything is still getting pushed up - even first thing in the morning, I look about 5 months along to myself.  This is my 4th pregnancy.  I wouldn't care except that I am trying not to tell my work until about the middle of June and my options for professional but not obviously maternity clothes are slim.  Fortunately I will only be 'in public' at work once more after today until I want to tell :-)

This. But I am completely okay with exercising total denial and saying it's a bump because bloating or otherwise it's not going anywhere, lol.

I'm 10ish weeks and absolutely showing.  Strangers have stopped me to ask when I'm due.  Sigh.

Pregnancy #6. Earthside kid #4. 8 weeks tomorrow. Already in maternity. I feel like a dork, but such is life. My mom even remarked on it. "Maternity already?" lol Yep...

I'm 11 weeks today and definitely showing to myself and family, but I suppose I don't quite yet look visibly pregnant to a stranger.  Or actually, I'll bet I have that look like, "is that lady pregnant, or did she just eat a whole batch of chocolate chip cookies?"  Mostly I just feel thick.  I think I popped about a week ago.  This is #3 for me.  #1 didn't show until at least 16 weeks, #2 more like 12, and this time 10.  Rockin' the yoga maternity pants every chance I get.

Yeah, I realize that at 7 weeks it's not actually baby showing, but the uterus does grow/stretch out more quickly with subsequent pregnancies and that along with looser abdominals and bloating - my main thing was that I didn't want to have to tell people too soon!  Oh, well.  I think I started "showing" somewhere around the 2 month marker last time, so I guess I'm right on schedule.  I definitely could pass it off as a beer (or cookie) belly, but the last couple times I've gone out with friends and not been drinking - I've started to get the knowing looks.

My fundus is about 2" below my navel. Def feeling thick, but not maternity.

Yeah....this past weekend I was out and about a lot, and wore a shirt that was tighter than normal and I looked in the mirror and definitely looked either fatter in the tummy or about 4 months preggo...sigh.  #5 here...fairly normal.  I am wearing the elastic waist pants right now.

This is pregnancy number 2 for me and I feel like I've really popped out over the last few days. I'm a little over 10 weeks and getting out my old maternity clothes. I wore my regular clothes until 15 or 16 weeks last time, so this is definitely earlier.

On my way to a local thrift store in a little bit. They have a whole section of maternity, which is nice because goodwill just mixes it all in with everything else and it's a total pain to sort through.

You actually don't have to wait until you find white or cream. I love to dye clothes! You can easily bleach out any other color from the pants or use Rit's Color Remover. I actually just did this for a project for my MIL for mother's day. She had a blue robe that she loves but she spilled bleach on it so it wasn't pretty. I just bleached all the color out of it and now she has a beautiful violet robe. Looks good as new! (The only issue that you have to be careful of is buttons and zippers. The robe looks great in violet but still has the original blue zipper)!

Am showing at least 4w earlier than for my 1st! 13w tomorrow and no hiding it if I wear a tight shirt. Ok so I started out 15lbs heavier than last time (bmi 20 to bmi 22).

OT, but weight is my biggest physical change in the last few months. In January I was 5lbs up from pre-#1, but then in just 3 months I gained 5 more *before* getting pregnant (due to a treatment) and then 5 more since March due to zero exercise and constant snacking with m/s. So the most noticeable difference to people who know me is the overall weight gain (10lbs in 5 months) and not the bump, but the bump is officially totally there! I think a lot is bloating and gas too, but not all of it!!

I don't fit about half my maternity pants from last time already. I passed them to a preggo friend and will shop for a few new things soon....
