Anyone interested in a weekly/monthly chat thread? « Back to Group Discussions

I know there was a weekly thread going that fizzled out. But now that more people have moseyed on over here and we are getting to more interesting parts of our pregnanices, maybe we should re-start one? Would anyone post? I'd be happy to start it - just thought I'd get a feel before hand.

On the same vein, should we do a weekly "getting to know so and so" thread? Each week it's a different person's turn to write a bit about themself or answer some questions we come up with. Not exactly sure as I've never done one. I know a lot of due date clubs do them though. Sounds kind of fun.

I'm not so keen about the get to know you thread, b/c I try to keep some info out on a public forum.

sounds great...but the same about being private-ish. lol Although I suppose there'd be ways to get around letting out TOO much info ;-)

I definitely miss the weekly thread. I've found in past DDC's that when the weekly threads get used then people tend to "get to know" each other as it progresses...

I agree - definitely easier to get to know people on a chat thread. I'll go ahead and start one. As for the getting to know you threads, I'll just leave the idea out there and someone else can kick it off, if they so choose. I'm sure we could manage to "get to know" each other without posting identifying type of info - you can always pick and choose what you share.
