Has anyone's child done the Lego Master Builder subscription series?

And was it a good experience?  Worth the money?  We're looking at this for my oldest two children.

My DS1 got the first kit from his Grandmother at Christmas.  He loves it!

 

We plan to do the subscription for kids 2-6(?), but are waiting until we have more funds. :)

Thanks for sharing your experience!  I'm only hesitating because of the price.  I've told my kids that will use a big chunk of the homeschooling funds.  I do like that the first kit is priced separately, so if it doesn't go over well we're not out the price of the entire subscription.
