Dating u/s yesterday....new due date :) « Back to Group Discussions

I have a new due date of January 6th and I got to see the babe's heartbeat going strong at 145 bpm!  

As soon as I called and told DF that all was well he called everyone in his family to announce it lol.  His mom called and congratulated me last night when he got home from work, which was very sweet.  

I feel so much better now about this pregnancy :)

I'm so glad you are feeling good about it.

I got a new due date, too, about a week later than my original one - so now I'm looking at 1/15 instead of 1/8.  Which is good - I'd rather not have to fight with them at the end, thinking I'm a week past due when I'm really just on time.

I'm super glad I got an accurate due date now, since I have to schedule the repeat C/S and I want to push it as close to my due date as possible.  I would not want to take the chance of taking the baby earlier than necessary, so I completely see your point - who wants to have to fight them?
