tips on looking for pediatrician who supports selective and delayed vaccination schedule

hello! i am new to this sight and really excited to find it and join! my short version is my miracle baby boy was born in december. during our struggle to get/stay pregnant we changed our lifestyle for the better by eliminating chemicals from our daily lives and eating healthier. we are researching and want to due the same due diligence with vaccines.

at our DS 2 month we only did one shot with the multiple vacc - declined the rota virus (sp) and hep b and there was another one that we delayed. meanwhile we have recently moved and i am looking for a pdei (south dartmouth ma area).

i don't expect you to have a specific dr.s name (although if one of you are from this area that would be helpful :)), but rather the resources i can tap into to research find one that would be willing to do the selective delayed plan - as you can imagine, i am feeling overwhelmed and feel like i keep hotting dead ends.

You could try posting in the tribal section for recs/names...

I would suggest Dr. Sears Vax book as a place to start about vaccines in general.

You could also try family dr. instead of pedi... some people have more luck there. If you are interested in alternative... maybe a holistic dr./naturopath?

I second the thought of trying a family practice doc instead of pediatrician. In our experience they are usually much more relaxed about vaccines as well as parenting issues.
