How much breastmilk should a 10 mo drink?

I am going to have to be away from my ten month old for a couple days (just during the day) and I am going to leave some pumped milk for her caregiver to give her only I'm not sure how much a 10 mo should take... I don't want to defrost too much and have it go to waste. TIA!

Always around an ounce for each hour you are separated. It does not depend on age.

My DS eats 1 to 1.5 oz per hour that I'm gone. But keep in mind that your LO might not be very interested in bottles if you haven't used them much. Is there a freezer at your caregiver's place? If so, I would defrost some of that and give instructions on how to defrost more if needed, since defrosted milk is only good for about 24 hours, and I wouldn't want to waste any. Then, on each consecutive day, I'd just give the fresh milk pumped from the day before.

When I worked, my kids averaged between 12-15 oz per work day.
