Small victories - Woo hoo! with dancing vegetables thread.

I have almost made it through the mounds of laundry that built up before getting a new washer - I am a few loads away (both putting away and washing) from having CLEAR SURFACES in the laundry room.  I am very excited - it has been crazy in there (it was taking forever for our laundry to fully wash and dry with the old machine, so it had really built up for a few weeks).

Good for you, mama!

I just got my kids toys thinned out and put in storage for the summer. Everything kept creeping into the rest of the house. They want to be outside all the time anyway. Yay, it's done!

Awesome!  Thinning out toys is the best - less for you to take care of and only favorite toys around for them!!  broc1.gif

My kitchen is halfway cleaned and most of the dishes are done.  I've also got more stuff put into the pile for Saturday's yard sale.

WTG!!! I have much laundry to hang/fold/put away. We've all had a stomach bug and now that everything is clean and disinfected, it all piles up.

took the sewing machine out, for less than one hour (including putting it back) and managed to sew the hem of 3 pairs of trousers, reduce the width of the bottom of some jeans for myself, reduced waistband of new skirt for DD2, sew the top of some discarted trousers legs => should make some easy/handy shoulder bags when i find some pretty strap to sew on them ... (for those days when i send a child or two to buy bread without me ...)

am glad I bought that case on wheels last year for storing the sewing machine and discarted the cardboard box .... now i leave that case out in view ... and am more likely to use the sewing machine than before when I had to remove a few things in a closet to get at the sewing machine in its cardboard box ...

I admit I have a lot of 'oh, I need to get around to mending that' that's piled up.  I've had a really hard time getting a good place to do any sewing at all - so I can understand that well.  NICE!!broc1.gif

I washed several pairs of kid shoes (plus 1 or 2 of my own) for storage/passing on.  THAT has been waiting on me quite some time.
