What a cool website!  I am a doula student looking for births in the East bay.  I have attended 15 births and these next three are free of charge due to my certification requirements.  If you are looking for a free doula who has experience....I would love to hear from you!

Also, don't feel like you have to do births for free just because you're working on certification.

I am interested, I have always wanted a dula as I was born at home with mid wife and grew up in a very natural holistic way. However my husband and I will be having our baby this September in the hospital (in Castro Valley/Hayward area) which is also ok with me. We spoke of hiring a dula but it's just not in our budget to do so. What a blessing it would be to connect with a student who is in need of more births.
