I read all of your posts and my daughter is vomiting at night too. It has been happening for about 1 month now off and on only in the wee hours of the morning or first thing in the morning before she even gets out of bed. She has already had a ct of her brain and now she is scheduled for an MRI. They are wanting to check her blood vessels in the brain because it can be pressure in the brain that causes this. I am crossing my fingers it is nothing to do with the brain. During the day she is fine, lots of energy, no symptoms. My gut is telling me that there is something going on. She needs to go for a physical before the MRI and have blood work done. So fingers crossed we go on June 8th.

Hi, I dont know who's post you read about vomiting at night with no other symptoms but just wanted to let you know that a friend of mine had this happen with her son- he would throw up every night, middle of night for no apparent reason, feel fine, feel great during day, etc. They had all the stuff done that you are mentioning, went to diff Drs, etc, nothing worked, they found nothing. Then, they went and got him a chiropractic adjustment, and he has not thrown up since! I dont understand it, why that would help, but IT DID. They take him in every once in awhile still for adjustments, but he has not thrown up since. I am totally amazed. You should try that first before you get more dangerous tests done that expose her to radiation, scare her, etc. I would start with the simplest ones first that have no negative side effects or risks, then if that doesnt work, then continue on.

Of course its totally possible that diet is a problem too, I totally agree with the PP. I am the person that thinks that a good diet (which means, IMO, an all-organic, traditional foods-type diet) is the panacea for all health problems, I know it is not, because there are so many things like chemicals and such in our environment already that we cant avoid.... Anyway, yeah I'd look into diet. Sometimes I assume that everyone else follows a similar diet to my own (especially on MDC, where a large proportion of people seem to at least eat organic food), so I forget to mention it :)
