optimal Thyroid TSH Levels for nursing

Hello,

I am due with my 3rd boy next week. I did not have any thyroid issues in the past (and nursed) but last year I had my thyroid removed due to a rare form of thyroid cancer. I started out with 3.5 TSH,shot up to TSH, and since then I have been on 200mcg of synthroid which brought my TSH down to 0.125, taken about a month ago.

I've been instructed by my high risk ob and endo to stay on the 200 and then go down to 150 after I give birth. I am very concerned about my levels affecting my ability to breastfeed. I've expressed how impt breastfeeding is to me but they are more concerned with my health and baby's. I'm looking for a balance. I want to make sure my levels are optimal for successful breastfeeding without supplementation

I know how long it can take to readjust to a new dose. Should I push to be on a new dose now (possibly get retested) to get my TSH in a better range for breastfeeding?

thank you.
