Am I Pregnant?

Hey all,

So I'm kind of freaked out. I'm about a week late for my period, and I don't feel any signs of it coming on. I took a pregnancy test, though, and it was negative. I've never been pregnant before, so I really have no idea what to do at this point. Can anyone help me out?

Perhaps schedule a visit with a doctor or midwife, Planned Parenthood? I'd assume I wasn't pregnant with a week late negative test. I hope you get some answers soon.

Wait a few days and test again, but I would assume you're not pregnant.  There are lots of other reasons for missed periods, but as the PP said, you'll want to talk those over with your doctor.

I think I am pregnant but not sure as I have never been pregnant before.

29th May we had unprotected sex as I was expecting my period on 31 May thinking I couldn't get pregnant.

30th May I woke up really happy, like I knew something really good was happening today yet it was just another day for me, nothing interesting happening.

Anyway, that morning I woke up with tiny spotting accompanied with cramps - nothing until that night where I thought I was getting my period, but it was blood,bright red no tissue, that lasted 24hours, turned brownish towards the ends, while I was having this spotting I was havng almost all prego symptoms, frequent urination, nausea, backache, hungry hungry, tired, headaches big boobs, different colour in nipples. 

I've taken two preg tests both -. Anyone got any ideas? 

Oh and also, this month I've had a lot of prego dreams that im pregnat and that feeling that something is different, that intuition feeling that wont go away, and usually when both accompnaied my dreams come true.

me and my fiancee havent been trying but we both really want kids.

Anyone got any ideas?

You can't get pregnant in one day, so if your period was expected on the 31st, and you had unprotected sex on the 29th, you wouldn't have been pregnant on the 30th.

Did you by any chance have any unprotected sex on, say, the 15th? That would sort of be a good estimate of your ovulation day, though of course these things can vary wildly.

If you think that you just ovulated quite late this month, and were ovulating around the 29th or 30th, then wait until June 9 and test again. Your test should be accurate by then.
