Really a whole lot I think

Thread Starter

I am looking for a bit of support.  I have two 15 yr old daughters and a 7 yr old son.  My sort of "immediate extended" family is about 25 people, which is so lucky for me.

Anyway my cousin who I see everyday- is down visiting her brother for the birth of his first child- her dad becomes unexpectadly ill in a life threatening way, his mother comes to see him and falls down the stairs! and will die tonight or tomorrow.

My sweet cousin, who has a 4,3 and 1 yr old is down with our family and just hurting and suffering in such a deep way.

All these people are close to me and I am a wreck-both personally and with work.

Yikes!

How to be the best Mom and person in this moment.?

I wish I had some kind of answer for you.  Sometimes, life just sucks beyond the telling of it.

I have always appreciated the following quote, when I am beset by more shit than one person can possibly be expected to deal with, and so, I share it with you, in the hopes it will at least make you chuckle, a little:

When you're going through hell, keep going.

It's attributed to Winston Churchill.  He was not a mother, but I bet he had a mother!  And maybe she taught him that.
