I am about 16 wks with my 1st and am still doing regular vinyasa or hatha yoga. I'm not that big yet so I am able to do all of the poses easily (well as easily as I ever could- I'm not very flexible!).
I have heard conflicting things about where I should be- in regular or prenatal classes. Many people have told me that they know of pregnant yogis that took regular classes, even teacher trainings (!), right up until the end.
Then I heard from another friend that you should stop doing regular yoga because you don't want to tone your core anymore as toning causes muscle tears and other problems with birth. I was relieved to finally hear there might be a benefit to not having a very strong core
I know hot yoga is a no-no.
What are your experiences? If you are doing yoga now, what prenatal or another kind? So curious! Wanna be doing the right thing for my body.
