So, the full-out pregnancy exhaustion hasn't hit me yet, but I have had trouble sleeping. Last night I was awake, randomly, from 3:30 AM to 5:30 AM. Ugh. I couldn't stop my mind from going over and OVER every worry I've ever had. So frustrating! Anyone else? I KNOW I'm tired....my mind just won't shut off. Any tips for calming your mind down? I use prayer and deep breathing, which often seem to work, but last night it didn't help that much.
Difficulty going back to sleep during the night
I've had this the past few nights, basically whenever my kids wake up (yes, they still both wake up several times a night and try to get back in bed with us) and then I can't go back to sleep. Last night I rubbed absurd amounts of lavender essential oil on my body and that seemed to help.
I have no problem going to sleep at night (at like (at like 9:00 these days), but my problem is waking up in the early morning and getting back to sleep. For example, it currently 5am and I've been up for like 20 minutes because I had to pee and now I seem to be up for the day.
The good news is that I'm going for a run before work. I guess I could transfer this post into the exercise thread :)
