I use Garden of Life- Primal Defense probiotics. I have heard from several people that they are "the best" ;)

13 weeks tomorrow!! And I am definitely bigger at night, too :). I still haven't gained a pound (at least that I can tell) but the belly is starting to take shape!

I take Florajen3 probiotics. They have made such a difference with my GI health!

I bought some of the Garden of Life Primal Defense probiotics. Hopefully I'll get them tomorrow so I can start taking them. My stomach feels so yucky!

Loveandgarbage - you have the cutest little bump! I look and feel like I swallowed a basketball loveeyes.gif

Wow loving all the cute baby bumps!  I don't have one yet - I get bigger at night too but I think its just from all the food and bloating/slow digestion.  I'm 5'9" and have gained 10lbs at 11 weeks 4 days!  I had virtually no morning sickness, only mild nausea.  I've been taking Kefir for probiotics.

Anyone else feel like they are way bigger than they should be at this point?  I've only gained a couple pounds, but I feel like my belly is huge already (I'm 12 weeks 4 days).  I guess I'm just nervous about gaining a bunch of weight and having to lose it all again...  I know I should just get over it, it's just so hard when you've struggled with weight all your life.  Anyways, I guess I should just be happy that I'm growing a healthy baby and try to be as healthy as possible.

I feel huge, too.  I'm extremely bloated and uncomfortable.  The past two days I meant to stop and pick up some probiotics hoping they would help but I forgot!

I really feel huge and so uncomfortable! I'm hoping the probiotics will help. I just started taking them yesterday, so its too early to see much of an effect. I had a mini-meltdown getting dressed for work this morning. It was in the mid 90s and disgustingly humid today so nothing felt comfortable and I felt like I looked awful.

Yep bloated over here too. It is ok in the morning but by mid day the bloating starts and just continues to get worse until bedtime! So uncomfortable!

I think probiotics could help, as well as eating as clean as possible. Personally, I make an effort to eat whole foods in their most natural state. And I have to pay a lot of attention to specific foods that can cause bloat. I limit my salt. And since dairy seems to irritate me, I limit dairy as well. Some kinds of nuts bother my digestion, too. (Even those that have been soaked and dehydrated.)

I hope you gals feel better soon!

To everyone who suggested probiotics- THANK YOU!!  I've been taking them for 3 days now and I feel SO MUCH BETTER.  I'm still a little bloated, but nothing like I was.  I've also been trying eat "cleaner" foods (except for the traditional Czech dinner I had at Czech Fest over the weekend...).  It's seriously so much better- I still feel a little bigger, but it's much "lower"- if that makes sense.  I don't feel like my entire abdomen is filling up like a balloon anymore, I just feel like I'm growing a baby (c:  I'm so grateful for this board and everyone's suggestions joy.gif

I agree! Thank you for the suggestion - baby and I are feeling sooooo much better! I have only been taking probiotics for 3 days as well, so I wasn't sure if I would feel better this soon. Both last night and this morning my belly was noticeably lower/smaller and I feel much less bloated. Also, less gassy - which is the opposite of what I expected for the first few days of the probiotics. Thank you so much! I would highly suggest to anyone who feels bloated to give probiotics a try. blowkiss.gif

BTW - I am taking Garden of Life Primal Defense and I think they're great!

Thanks! I'm definitely carrying differently this time around-- so far no weight gain and only a little bump.

Not my best picture ever, but here's a quick pic of me at 10 weeks 1 day. My 4th pregnancy. I feel like I look more like 16 weeks lol. Cannot hide my bump any more!

etsdtm- hahaha, oh my gosh, 100% yes obvious :)   They were probably just being polite and waiting for you to tell them when you were ready.

etsdtm- I'd say it's pretty obvious! It's funny you say that, though, because last night we were out at a neighborhood event, and I was talking with friends then walked away for a few minutes. When I came back, everyone started congratulating me. Apparently they all thought I was pregnant but didn't want to ask me, so they asked one of my friends (who knew already). I didn't mind that she shared what she knew; I have started telling most people, but I also find it weird to just come out and announce that I'm pregnant to a bunch of random neighbors, so that is why I didn't say anything!

Here I am at 14 weeks today.  Everyone says you can totally see a bump, but I just see my waist thickening.  I didn't show until almost 20 weeks with DD2, but I was in better shape than I am now.

I am still down 4 lbs, so I guess I have gained 1 lb from my bottom weight.

14 weeks and 1 day. I was even surprised at how huge I am when I uploaded the picture into the computer. I'm so glad I've been taking pictures this whole time - it happens so gradually!
