Ahhhh..... loving all the bellies!  And the pumpkin belly is priceless!  Do you guys notice more weight gain as we get farther along?  I hadn't really been gaining anything, in fact I was losing.  But now, it's happening.  I've gained like 4 pds in just 2 weeks!  Its crazy.

Here I am at 27 weeks.... I was surprised at how large I look (especially with the shirt down)...

26 weeks and 27lbs heavier according to the scale this morning.  had to bust out the 34G bras today, and am moving into leggings and stretchy skirts w/ big sweaters.  it seemed like a big growth spurt last week!  any other mama's feel like this has been a quick growing period?

Yes... I was just informed today that I look like I'm due in Dec. and not Feb.  lol.... Thanks a lot.

i heard recently a similar thing, either that or 'are you sure it's not twins?'

you look great!  right on for your dates.  and a really cute, pert little belly!  still say you carry high and sassy!  

people have no idea what they're talking about.  that's why i got on this board and forum- so i would be w/ other people doing the same thing instead of just getting random comments from people NOT in the same boat!

i feel like my belly looks a lot bigger in clothing, especially with the ruched sides. however the maternity dress that i am wearing today makes me look huge. a woman at a baby/mama consignment shop today said i'm almost ready and i said yeah, in february. she was quite embarrassed.

i'm glad we have this group.

Oh I got so many twin comments with my first pregnancy and also comments along the line of "ooooh, any day now!" when I was only 5 months along. Just take it in stride!

yep I got lots of those comments too.... this pregnancy I have had one lady from church convinced I was due in October... I had two people ask me this past weekend "so, almost there, right?" nope, I've got 3 more months. I am only up 12 lbs, but it is ALL in my big ol' belly.. since this is my 3rd I just say "well I have a short torso and make big babies, so my belly gets huge" and it doesn't bother me anymore. ;)

oh, and at the size my belly is now, I have seen plenty of women this size AT full term. There is such a range of shapes/sizes of pregnant bellies, it is hard to gage how far along someone is!

Last week at 25.5. I found some great sale maternity clothes at Old Navy, so I will probably be wearing bright summer colors all winter but at least my belly is covered.

Thanks!  It doesn't really bother me, but I was surprised to hear it... especially coming from her, she has a daughter my age that has two kids.  It's funny what some people have to say!

I have gained a good 30lbs, but no stretch marks yet!  I also have an appointment on Monday so I will get an official measurement then.

does anyone know what your fundal measurement is supposed to be at 6months or where I might find info on this?

It's supposed to be close to the number of weeks you are.  So If you're 28 weeks, your FH should measure 28cm plus or minus 2 cm.  However many things can affect this measurement... including how baby is lying, if you're a petite person, if you have more/less amniotic fluid, if you're expecting twins etc.  You start the tape measure at the top of your pubic bone and measure to the top of your uterus while lying on your back.  Many people will consistently measure "small" or "large" for their dates and it is just normal for them.

I had 3 people on Thursday tell me I didn't look "that big".  I feel huge!  How big do they think I was before I got pregnant??  I managed to gain 9lbs last month which is stressing me out more than it should.
