I hope I can share some experienced momma advice and save someone from possible issues down the road. I *wish* that I'd had the tupler book when I was pregnant with my first....I think she's got a dvd too called maternal fitness. Doing her technique throughout pregnancy can prevent a substantial diastasis from forming, and friends who I have recommended this to also seem to have gotten fewer stretch marks as well in subsequent pregnancies as well. I have a diastasis here (which I'm certain is not going to be helped by this pregnancy, it's gotten worse each time). Back then the midwives advised me to 'not workout my abs' at all. Their information was actually not technically correct, even though I did 'traditional pregnancy' workout dvds throughout pregnancy I still got the diastasis pooch, and the next time I got pregnant it was more pronounced, etc. I'm only mentioning this as a thought, look up some reviews for it. I wish I'd had that information when I was pregnant with my first three kids.
