So we went from one of the most amazing birth experiences ever to one of the most tragic things ever just a week and a half later.

and here is the situation we are in now (completely unrelated to the birth and not something the could've caught prenatally)  

www.caringbridge.com/visit/junemccoy  My just turned 2 week old today is on a ventilator (since May 30th when everything went down) and is preparing for open heart surgery.  Hoping to get her off the vent and home with meds so she can grow a bit before the surgery, but if she doesn't tolerate being extubated then surgery will be soon.  Your prayers are appreciated!!  Open heart surgery always sounds scary, but a lot scarier when it's such a teeny baby.  Anyway, if you are interested in following our updates, they'll be on this site.  There are some pics up as well.

Thanks guys, it's crazy, you never think it's going to be you.... and then it is.  She is hopefully going to be weaned off the ventilator tomorrow and then I might get to HOLD HER!

As a NICU mom of our miracle 30 weeker, I send you hugs I don't totally understand your exact situation but I do understand many emotions of having a baby in the NICU, every milestone, every moment spent loving and caring for your precious LO means everything,  prayers being sent your way for June, please feel free to pm (call me).
