Who is looking forward to wearing normal clothes? :)

I am so looking forward to normal jeans and whatnot :) DH always takes me shopping when I fit into my normal jeans again for a post baby pick-up :)  So.. I am shopping online looking for just the ones I want- I think I could use some new boots and a belt too- very much enjoying myself ad my sister who is 120 miles away is having fun too pretending to spend my DH"s money-lol  Hoping my mom can use her Buckle employee discount online- cause that would rock my world :)  I think I could go for a pair of Corral boots rather than my standard Ariats- ha!

Anyone else dying to wear normal clothes?  Maternity sucks at this point....  Sexy jeans, fancy cowgirl boots, a bravado tank, and a cute little sweater sounds sooo much better than full panel, birkenstocks, and a huge tent/awning as a shirt......  Sad because at this point of my 5th pregnancy I have acquired a lot of maternity clothes.....  And I love my birks- but I would like to have my feet actually fit in other shoes too.

wave.gif ME!!! I am SO looking forward to normal clothes. I am sick to death of my maternity wardrobe. I feel so not sexy right now. I just don't. I think part of it has to do with wearing the same thing over and over and over again. Oh and that my belly is HUGE now. I feel like a walking planet. I can't wait to go get myself a normal cute pair of jeans.

I am mostly looking forward for it NOT to be a struggle to put on socks!

But non mat clothes will be nice as well :)

Oh, me too. I cannot wait to not feel so heavy and waterlogged and the opposite of cute. It can't be too much longer now.

How on earth is anyone getting socks on?  No way here!  I haven't worn anything but Ugg boots and my Birkenstock sandals for months (well the uggs were when it was cold and the sandals since the middle of March).  I can't really get them buckled or unbuckled- so my DD or DH has to do that for me.  Socks would be way too hard and not worth it :)

Mom came out today and we went online to pick out my new jeans :)  I need that little motivation apparently!

All of my clothes are ridiculously tight at this point. With this pregnancy I opted to try out larger clothing sizes rather than go with a full maternity wardrobe. To be honest that may not have been the best way to go. Even the bigger sizes of things don't really fit me anymore. So my outfits are getting highly repetitive. I'm 37+1 though so it seems insane to go and buy anything larger when I know that the most recent additions to my closet will for sure fit me after the baby is born. Now it's just waiting it out!

I was so excited a few weeks ago that I pulled out all of my "transition wear" and washed it, folded it and tucked them in the backs of my drawers. I also shopped at thrift stores a few times and found some nice t's, a pair of jeans, blouse, and a few dresses for the in-between-stage that seems to last for months! The best part was I paid next to nothing for all of that! Hoping everything will end up fitting OK as I am a few lbs over what I was with our last baby but I honestly can't see the extra weight at this time and wonder where it is hiding??? :)

i am lucky, i guess, when it come to "transition" clothes. lol. i still have the clothes i wore when i was 4o lbs heavier than before i got pregnant. plus i ave stretchy skirts to wear as well. my stuff will fit me just right as i enter winter. i wont have anything to buy.

tbh, i bought maternity clothes early. i bought the right size but my belly has gotten so big that it is hard to keep them down over my belly. sigh. and even my maternity pants cut into the area right above my pubic bone. i am sticking out there too.

OK- I know no one wants more maternity clothes- but I was at Target a couple of weeks ago and they had cute maternity maxi dresses in the clearance rack.  I had one of them already- and bought a second for like $10.  They are probably cheaper now!  Definitley worth a walk by if you are there.  I plan on wearing at least the one after the baby- and they are sooo comfy I have been living in them.  Anything on my waist is just driving me insane- like the capris I have on right now- they are just making me grumpy...

I bought one of the Liz Lange maxi dresses at Target and I love it!  Probably my favorite piece of maternity wear.
