Post-Pregnancy Belly Button Issues!

Hi ladies,

My belly button always looks dirty ever since I gave birth. It is not dirt, of course, but darker pigmentation that isn't going away. My linea negra (that dark line on the belly) is still sticking around, too. The pigmentation around and in the belly button is the same as the linea negra. I am 7 weeks postpartum...is this stuff going to go away or does it stay?

 I had a long linea nigra that was very noticeable on my pale pale skin.  It did go away (and surprisingly hasn't come back yet even though I'm 21 weeks pregnant), but I think it took a few months.  Give it time, mama!

I had this, it did go away though I can't remember when. I think it was around 6 weeks postpartum for me, but it could have been longer. One day when I was taking a shower and washing it just started rubbing off --- dead skin --- and then continued coming off gradually until the skin looked normal tone again.

Oh and my linea negra was also dark for quite a while, it's mostly faded now at 6 months postpartum.
