Homemade Mayo

1 egg yolk
1 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp dry mustard powder
¼ tsp salt
½ cup of a mix of sesame, coconut and olive oils

And the oil last, slowly, while blending until it's thickened and whiter.

I guess the egg and oil and cheese are only allowed in later stages, but at least they are allowed at all? Maybe yogurt could work as a substitute?

I think when pregnant, finding a way to get what you want without totally cheating is huge.  I'm also playing w/ GAPS (not the intro diet by any means) b/c I was traveling for the first month and got exposed to so much wheat and haven't quite recovered.  it's great for the whole family to be supportive.  healing takes a while.

i was coming on this thread b/c it's number 5 for me, and i've not felt PREGNANT.  i mean, my uterus is up way high and round, i knew i got pregnant (to the day), but have had no symptoms except fatigue.  and that's pretty normal for traveling for 1 month, then moving across the state.  and exposure to wheat (i react when it's in the air, it's pretty unpleasant especially when pregnant) can make my skin break out and cause fatigue as well.  but i can't believe how i've made it to 12 weeks and no breast tenderness, no nausea, a little extra gas (once again, wheat does that), and some minor cravings which are milder than PMS.

curious to if any other moms have made it this far just getting fatter (oh yes, totally showing and gained a nice padding on my back and booty, which is standard 1st trimester for me) but nothing else?
